My journey at HARPOWN began in the summer of 2013. The youngest employee at Harpo Studios, I was hired as the first inaugural production intern on OWN's primetime hit series, "Oprah's Next Chapter" assisting a team of associate and executive producers with creative production execution to deliver weekly episodes. In this role, I also assisted Harpo’s Research, Booking and Marketing departments with daily production fulfillment of OWN’s Harpo-produced programming including Emmy®-award winning “Super Soul Sunday” and “Oprah’s Lifeclass” along with NAACP winning “Oprah Presents: Oprah’s Masterclass” and “Iyanla, Fix My Life”.
After completing a four month full-time internship, I joined Harpo’s Legal department where I currently serve as a Media Licensing Coordinator. As part of the team, I take on the responsibility of handling re-clearances of nearly 5,000 iconic hours of “The Oprah Winfrey Show” library, making them available for broadcast across multiple 'Oprah' channels (i.e., OWN, Oprah.com, Social Media, Etc.). I also assist the team with photo and footage licensing, deliverable fulfillment and development of promotional material for some of OWN's highly-rated original programming and specials.
An artistic and energetic person, I am passionate about the OWN brand, both as an employee and a viewer. At heart, I am a student, always seeking something new to learn. With the closing of Harpo/OWN's Chicago office, I am seeking to use my talent and deep passion for creative works by integrating my skills into the television and entertainment industry to engage audiences and bring awareness to the viewer.
